Home

Our close relationship with the local community is very apparent here in the park, where people are free to come and enjoy the unique atmosphere at any time.

Many people regularly take walks along the paths through the park, which join with local public footpaths to form a network of walks suitable for all ages and abilities, one of the paths around the park is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

Something for everyone-
  • Eco-Cabin
  • children’s playground
  • adventure footpaths
  • weather station - monitored by the local primary school
  • a diversity of habitats supporting a wide variety of wildlife

With excellent opportunities for study in the park, from early summer our new resource centre with laboratory and computer equipment will make this an ideal centre for students, schools and other groups to study wildlife and its habitats.

The park is always open, we’d love to see you!
